Today’s Fish Count: 8 Boats and 162 Anglers.

667 Rockfish, 525 Whitefish, 5 Lingcod, 27 Sculpin, 25 Sheephead, 120 Calico Bass, 42 Sand Bass, 5 Perch, 9 Halibut, 1 Yellowtail, and 10 White Seabass.

Today the boats branched out fishing at the islands, down the coast, and up the coast. Each captain went separate ways but with one thing in mind, put their passengers on fish. Some fished Bass in the kelp while others went deep hauling in Rockfish. By the days end, all the boats put together nice days, catching a variety of species. The weekend looks promising here at the Channel Islands, with great weather and potentially great fishing!
