Lots of Catfish Caught This Week

The water temperature is 58-60 degrees. Last Stock of Trout was December 18th, 2019.. 600lbs.

Striper: Medium Action: Striper fishing has remained a bit slower than normal although early morning anglers have been able to put together a decent program on topwater/jerk baits.

Blue Gill: Low Action: Blue gills starting to become active around the Marina, using night crawlers or mini jigs tipped with crickets or meal worms.

Catfish: High Action: Many catfish were caught this week especially near ramp 2 mainly on chicken liver. This is definitely the best bite at the moment . 

Large Mouth: High Action: Many largies caught this week especially on dropshots and senkos. Conventional tactics have worked best.

Trout: Next Stock of Trout will be January 21st, 600lbs.

Carp: Low Action this past week.

The water temperature is around 65 degrees. Next Stock of Trout will be December 18th, 2019, 600 pounds. Striper: Low-Medium Action: Striper action has still been a little slower this week. People have been getting a few on baits like Vision 110’s and other jerk baits.. Blue Gill: Low Action: Not many blue gills reported, although the lake is known for our large panfish..
