Pyramid Lake Fishing Report

Pyramid Lake, CA - Caswell, CA (Los Angeles County)

by Pyramid Lake Staff

Anglers have been having luck catching bass from shore and throughout the lake on various types of soft plastic baits, more finesse type rigs. Jigs, jerkbaits and crankbaits have also been getting bit down deeper along walls and structures around the lake. A lot of catfish have been caught from the swimbeach and along the shoreline as well as coves found around the lake mainly on chicken liver and sardines. Trout have still been caught out on the water on mice tails and powerbaits out by Spanish Point, Bear Trap, and Yellowbar. Stripers can still be caught trolling throughout the lake with umbrella rigs or deeper diving jerkbaits. Stripers have also been caught out of the canal up front while the water was running on anchovies over the past couple weeks along with a few trout off garlic or salmon egg scented powerbaits and nightcrawlers.
