There has been good trout fishing the past few weeks since the last trout stocking. Most catches have been off Powerbait and garlic nightcralwers. A lot of decent sized fish have been pulled out and mainly around the West launch ramp.

The stripers have started to bite better, mainly boiling in the early and late afternoon. Some anglers have been having luck off of cut bait and lug worms.

The largemouth and smallmouth have been boiling throughout most of the day, most fish have been chasing shad. A lot of these fish have been a little harder to target with topwater and reactions baits, but are being caught off the drop shot and finesse style plastics as well.

The Bluegill and Crappie are still ebbing caught in good numbers off wax and meal worms.

Catfish are still making appearances, mainly off mackerel and anchovies.

There has been many reports of limits of rainbow being caught of powerbaits and garlic scented worms. Some of the best action has been over by the west launch...... Read More
