Cut Baits Have Been Doing The Trick For Catfish

Striped Bass: Medium action on these beauties. By boat & using cut baits have been the way to go for striped bass around the inlet and dam area and middle fo the lake for the past couple of weeks. Try using chicken liver and anchovies for the best bite!

Bluegill: Bluegill have been medium action. Meal worms, crickets and wax worms through out the lake and across from the marina by boat. 

Catfish: High action for Catfish over by ramp 2 and over by the inlet area. Cut baits have been doing the trick. 

Largemouth Bass: Largemouth are low action right now. Not much action this past week. Still early mornings are best out by the dam or inlet using nightcrawlers or jerk baits. 

Carp: No action to be reported. 

Trout: No action

Striped Bass: Some boils are still being reported after hours. Most anglers have been having success by using fly lined or cut bait such as chicken livers. Striped Bass: Medium to high action this past week. Most anglers have been having more success over by the dam and inlet area using cut bait, such as chicken liver also anchovies. Some fish are being taken on top water lures as well.  Bluegill: Medium Action reported. The most effective baits are worms, mealworms and crickets.
