27 Calico Bass, 10 Bonito, 1 White Seabass, 1 Sole, 11 Lingcod, 50 Sheephead, 816 Ocean Whitefish, 772 assorted Rockfish.

It seems some boats are fishing a little deeper with each passing day, while others are hanging out in the shallows anticipating a resurgent bass or yellowtail bite. Both styles of fishing have seen success but it’s not clear which direction the boats are leaning toward. October is usually a transition month but like everything this year, 2020 is anything but predictable.
