Fishing has been tough lately, with weather contributing to tough conditions. The stripers are still biting off the troll, mainly on channel swings and main points. Umbrella rigs, spoons, and flies have been working best. Some anglers have been having luck with lug worms and nightcralwers off the bottom.

Catfish have been picking up worms and cut bait as well. Mackerel and anchovies are working for most. The largemouth and smallmouth has slow but steady. Some numbers were reported back but it was a going to land a limit. Some reactions baits and finesse style lures have been producing some nice quality lately. The good old drop shot also has been doing the trick. The bluegill and crappie fishing is pretty slow, with the lagoon fishing better as of right now. Trout are starting to make more of an appearance with the colder water temperatures. We are still waiting on our first trout stocking of this season.
