The wind has been a battle this past week but when you are able to find a nice day to come out, the fishing is picking up. A lot fo bass and smallmouth have been caught using plastics and some reaction baits. A lipless crank bait has been working for some anglers as well.

The striper action is a little on the slow side, but a few anglers have been having luck on the troll with flies and umbrella rigs, and a few swimbait fish have been caught as well. We had a trout plant on the 17th of last week and was 900 lb. stocking. A few trout have been pulled out since then, mainly on Powerbait or garlic nightcrawler. A kastmaster or rooster tail will do the trick as well.

Catfish have been inactive this past week with not much to report on. The bluegill and crappie are still biting but a little deeper than usual. If you are able to brave the wind you could be in for some decent fishing.

A few anglers are having luck with Powerbait and garlic nightcrawler. The largemouth are also...... Read More

We did have a few trout stockings over the winter and anglers have been catching a couple here and there. Powerbait and garlic nightcrawler. Have been working best. Largemouth are still in deeper waster but have been hitting nightcrawler and plastic worms. Some anger using white...... Read More
