With the warmer conditions over the past couple of weeks, the bite for everything has picked up very well. Stripers are still biting sardines and anchovies along the rip rap, the canal by the entrance booth and off of points around the lake. Umbrella rigs, jerkabits, and various swimbaits have been working well over the past week for some anglers by the steepers walls and drop offs.

The catfish bite has also been great with chicken liver and anchovies throughout the coves and along the canal.

The bass bite is starting to puck up more now, biting various soft plastics like roboworms or senkos and some anglers having luck with reaction baits first thing in the morning like smaller crank baits and jerkbaits. People are still catching trout throughout the lake and along rip rap by the shop by mainly on power bait and nightcrawlers after so much pressure.
