Stripers and Catfish are still biting very well thoughout the lake and from the shorelines over the past couple fo weeks using sardines, anchovies and lugworms. Serrano, Spanish Point, the Marina, and the canal by the swim beach have all been excellent spots for stripers.

Catfish are also biting very well thought the coves and sandy banks on sardines and anchovies. The canal by the entrance booth and the points past the swim beach at Emigrant Landing have bene great spots for Catfish for anglers fishing off shore. Largemouth and smallmouth are starting to bite more reaction baits like crank baits, jerk baits, and even some top water baits in the morning hours. Soft plastics have also been very successful along the shorelines such as flukes, senkos, and other creature like baits working through the grass.
