The water is constantly dropping a foot or two a day and will continue throughout the summer. Fishing has been productive lately at least. Largemouth and smallmouth have been biting off plastics and nightcrawlers the best. Some reaction baits and top water have been doing good as well.

The stripers are starting to boils here and there again and most of them have been caught soaking bait.

The Catfish bite has improved with higher water temperatures. Cut baits and chicken liver bite has improved with the higher water temperatures. Cut bait and chicken liver has been doing the trick.

Bluegill and crappie have bene harder to target and the lower lagoon have been the best place for these species.

The trout have been few and far between but a few anglers have been able to land bigger hold-overs up to 5lbs.
