Striped Bass: Medium Action to High Action. Chicken liver and nightcrawlers are the best bite, going strong with many fish being hooked over near the dam and inlet using rapalas and lures.

Bluegill: Use cricked and meal worms over across from the marina by boat.

Catfish: High action many large fish have been caught over by Launch Ramp 2 this past week. Cut bait always works best. Last stock of Catfish was on July 30th and August 13th.

Largemouth Bass: Medium Action. This week on largemouth try using roboworms in the reeds. Plastic worms and soft plastic swimbaits.

Trout: No Action

Carp: No Action

Striped Bass: Similar to last week, try chicken liver or other cut baits near the dam and inlet. Use top water lures or jerk baits for foaming fish. Trolling can also be a very productive tactic. Bluegill: We recommend bringing crickets and fly lining them in the east end. Another excellent bait is a whole mealworm or piece of nightcrawler.
