The lake held at 92 percent of capacity, and water temperatures have been in the low to mid-sixties. Striper anglers reported a good bite on cut sardines and lugworms. Most of the action has been in the marina, but Yellowbar and Serrano kicked out some good striper as well. Bass anglers reported an improving bite with fish falling for crankbaits early in the day and going for finesse baits as the water warms up. Drop shot, Senkos, and Texas rigs saw plenty of action if 5 to 25 feet of water. Catfish ate cut baits, dip bait, and chicken liver just about anywhere in the lake.
