WATER TEMPERATURE: 60

Stripers have been biting more frequently over the past few weeks in the early morning hours on various subsurface baits and top waters along with cut bait throughout the day. Deeper water off points and walls have been best areas to come across Stripers and Catfish throughout the day off baits. Some anglers have had luck trolling the lake with heavier kastmasters and spoons along with deeper diving jerkbaits and heavy umbrella rigs.

Bass have been biting anywhere up to 30ft deep or so on jigs and other soft plastic baits like senkos or robo worms. Anglers have also had a decent amount of luck using jerkbaits and crank baits in the morning hours fishing steeper walls and rocky banks. Nightcrawlers have also been working very well to catch anything in the lake, especially the bass and bluegill along the shoeline.
