We just got an audio update from Dave Hansen (Your Saltwater Guide) from Dana Wharf Sportfishing in Dana Point, CA. Today we had quality fishing for 12 boats and 216 anglers we ended up with 617 fish caught with some of them being released.
Our dock total is:
359 Calico Bass Released
60 Sand Bass Released
50 Rockfish
49 Bocaccio
47 Sand Bass
43 Calico Bass
31 Vermilion Rockfish
9 Sheephead
7 Whitefish
5 Sculpin
2 Blue Perch
2 Bonito
1 Barracuda
1 Yellowtail
5 Bluefin Tuna (up to 206 pounds)
The big news is the Boardroom caught and kept 5 Bluefin Tuna up to 206 pounds. We will get a final weight when the boat comes to port.
