Capt Merit
Today's 3/4-day fished with 23 people. The Channel was  angry, but is forecast to flatten out tonight. The group was almost exclusively a Boy Scout troop, all but 2 people. We started out deep but even there the swell was rolling. A few drifts in and it was clear we needed to find calmer waters. We fished a few more rocks and ended up fishing behind an oil rig where it blocked the worst of the swell.
We ended up with 227 rockfish, with 40 reds, a fat calico and 40 whitefish. Still caught as many a folks wanted. We were heading for a final stop where there were more whitefish when, after fishing hard all day, our group threw in the towel. We have room all week long. Call the office 805-963-3564 or book online.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
