Pyramid Lake, CA Fish Report for 2-10-2023
Pyramid held at 86 percent of capacity, and water conditions are almost back to normal
Pyramid Lake, CA - Caswell, CA (Los Angeles County)
by Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Pyramid held at 86 percent of capacity, and water conditions are almost back to normal. Large and smallmouth have been biting finesse baits, jigs, and spoons at a decent clip. Some local anglers have even reported excellent fishing for bigger bass. Striper ate cut sardines and live worms soaked in 30 to 90 feet of water near the marina, at Yellowbar, and at the dam. Catfish slurped up dip baits and chicken liver just about anywhere in the lake. Trout anglers reported a slow pick while using dough baits, minijigs, and trout lures. The lake has been getting stocked, so the bite should remain decent for a while.
