With lower flows and dirty water, the striper bite remained on the slow side. However, anglers did report an uptick in activity. Striped bass ate cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live minnows after check gates. Lure anglers landed line-sides with jerkbaits, Flukes, and tube baits. Catfish picked up triple S dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver near outtake grates and after bridge pylons. Largemouth fishing improved with anglers reporting weightless Senkos and drop shot as the best ways to entice bites.
