Lake Ming continues to produce a solid bass bite, with anglers reporting good numbers of quality largemouth. Reaction-style baits have been especially productive, with chatterbaits, 6-inch soft-plastic swimbaits, square-bill crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and jerkbaits all accounting for fish. The best action has been around submerged structure and shaded banks during the early morning and late afternoon hours. Topwater lures, particularly frogs, are also generating explosive strikes during these low-light periods. Bluegill and crappie fishing remains steady as well, with anglers finding success using mini-jigs, small worms, and live bait around shallow areas and structure.
