Date/Info: 3/20 & 3/21 - Dawson & Madeline Smith, San Diego residents, were fishing by the shore near Camp 6, using rainbow powerbait and took home 16 beautiful trout this weekend. All 1-2 lbers.

Date/Info: 3/20 - Chuck Gootz and his buddies from Camp Pendleton, were fishing in a cove by the dam using powerbait. They reeled in 5 trout. Chuck took home the largest weighing almost 2 lbs.

Date/Info: 3/20 - Miss Leeanne Priest from Yucca Valley, was fishing with her uncle and cousin, down by the dam with orange powerbait. Leeanne caught all 5 trout and skunked her uncle and cousin. Go girl!

Fishing season has begun! 03/10-Oswald Hernandez and his friend, Indio, caught five (5) trout shore fishing on the peninsula using all different colors of power bait. 03/10-Jerry Humpert, desert resident, caught five (5) trout using power bait shore fishing on the peninsula. 03/14-Lance and Brandi Ward and Ron Klopf of Aguanga, all limited out on trout using a spinner. Date:03-03-10 Information: Dave Cunningham, Hemet, was fishing on a cloudy day on South shore near spillway. Pulled in 1.5 trout using powerbait. Date 03-07-10 Information: David Priest, and his buddies, all from Yucca Valley, were boat fishing in the rain and snow and cold when they caught 3 trout, 1-2 lbs., using rapala lures down by the dam.......
