Upper lake WATER TEMP: Mid 50's
Lower Lagoon WATER TEMP: Mid 50's
Next Stocking:The Department of Fish and Game will be stocking the Upper Lake with Rainbow Trout the week of March 25th.
Dry Gulch Will be CLOSED from March 26th thru May 26th for Fish Spawning!
The largemouth bite continues to get better and better. Robo worms and nightcrawlers have still been working in the shallows. Along the bank to the right on the marina a few trout have still been hanging around and the trout have been biting on nightcrawlers as well. Old SS and Hawks nest have been great hangouts for bigger largemouth biting robo's. Watermelon senkos have been working in Elizabeth Cyn along the west side walls. Catfish are still biting near Kong Island and back at the buoy line on the right side in roughly 80 feet of water, Sardines are working best. The striper bite is still struggling but with the trout plant scheduled for this week hopefully we can see some swimbait action. Ice jigs haven't been working extremely well but anglers keep trying for stripers in the fish arm and by C-point. The lagoon is still producing big largemouth on swimbaits and the smaller largies are being caught on nightcrawlers and plastics.
