The fishing at Castaic Lake is very good the fish are boiling all over the lake

The fishing at upper Castaic is very good. The Striped Bass are boiling all over the lake. The Largemouth Bass are boiling in the coves. Topwater and reaction baits are working best.

UPPER LAKE WATER TEMP: 78 - 80 DEGREES LAGOON WATER TEMP: 75 - 78 DEGREES Stripers are still boiling all over the fish arm and are biting on small top water baits and Flukes. Fishing as a whole is doing great and most anglers are coming back every day with fish. Stripers are still biting throughout most of the lake and are still hanging out around 20 to 40 feet deep. Anglers are catching Catfish at the buoy line biting mackerel and night crawlers.
