Elsinore continues to have the best catfishing in the area. Fish averaging 3 to 6 lbs. are common with some fish to 12 lbs. being taken. Anglers have been getting bites on shad, chunk sardines & nightcrawlers. For best results in the morning fish shallow and then deeper as the day goes on.
Bluegill can be located in 3 to 12 feet of water. The best bait for the Bluegill are wax or mealworms, live crickets or red worms.
