No trout plants this week due the hatchery closure from fire. Stripers continue to make a steady comeback for all anglers boat and shore. Live shad is key but plastics & cut bait are working as well as some big plugs. LMB are still chewing on live shad but shad imitations are working just as well.

For the woppers this week we have Ken home from Castaic who caught a 12 pound striper on Nov 1st. using a KPN plug near the dam. Rick Howe from Ventura caught a 16 pond stripers on Nov. 2nd using cut bait and wood near the dam as well. And Steven Huge from Valencia caught a 3 pound LMB on Nov. 3rd using Plastics and love shad near the coves. Join us today!
