High winds made it tough all the way around cispite.

This weeks trout plants: 1500 in the upper, 1300 in the lower.

Launch ramp closure due to high winds, which made it a shore angler bite.

As tough as it was, some nice stripers to 8 pounds were reported along with loads of schoolie size. LMB in the mix as well to 2 pounds on shad imitations. Stripers are hotting cut bait.

Our big fish this week are:
Danny from Oxnard caught 28 trout with the biggest one weighing in at 1 pound. He used gold lures and power bait in the lagoon.

We also had Joseph from Camarillo catch 19 carp with the biggest one being a 27 pounder! He used gulp corn nuggets near the west ramp.

Lastly we had Steven from Valencia who caught 5 LMB's with a heavy one at 4.7 pounds. He used plastics near the west ramp as well.
