Hesperia Lake is a well-managed, pay-to-fish lake in San Bernardino County. Stocked by private hatcheries, the lake offers consistent fishing opportunities for rainbow trout and channel catfish throughout the year. Trout are stocked weekly during the cooler months and are commonly caught on PowerBait, nightcrawlers, and spinners. Catfish stocking intensifies in the summer, and night fishing is allowed, adding a unique appeal.

Other species include carp, bluegill, and sturgeon (occasionally). Carp are targeted using dough baits and corn. Sturgeon are rare but sometimes stocked for promotional events and can exceed 20 pounds.
