The temperature was 75F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers boils have slowed a bit, but seems like it might be picked up. The bait bite for the stripers has been fair. The largemouth fishing has been good. The largemouth have been boiling in the mornings. The catfish bite is good with double digit fish being caught. Best bait for catfish is mackerel or catfish chunks.

Catfish: Good
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Poor
Trout: Poor

Fishing at Castaic was very good. The stripers have started boiling very good. Most of the fish have been caught at the ski arm bouy line. Top water and small kastmasters are working best. Guys are still catching stripers on bait. Sardines and lugworms are working best in 50 to 75 ft deep. The largemouth bass are boiling on baby shad all day.
