Water temperature was at 83F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers have been boiling good in the mornings at the bouy line. The bait bite for the stripers has been slow. The largemouth bass have been biting plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish bite has been good. Most catfish are being caught on mackerel and nightcrawlers in 30 to 40 ft.

Bass: Good, Average size: 2lbs
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good, Average size: 20lbs
Catfish: Good, Average size: 8lbs
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Poor
Trout: Poor

The temperature was 75F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers boils have slowed a bit, but seems like it might be picked up. The bait bite for the stripers has been fair.
