Water temperature was 79F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers have been boiling good in the mornings at the bouy line and in front of west ramp, off c point and in the jet ski area. The largemouth bass fishing is good. Most bass are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish bite is fair. Most catfish are being caught on mackerel and nightcrawlers in 25 to 75 ft.
