Anglers had to use a little of everything to catch their limits this week with power bait (especially rainbow and red, white and blue), inflated night crawlers seasoned with garlic, lures and senkos all bringing nice size trout (most near two pounds and many over 3 pounds).

Hot spots included the western shore (from the pump house to the drain) and eastern logged shore (including the grassy point) of lake 3 and the northern, eastern and western shores of lake 2. Bite remained pretty good throughout the day.

Catches of the week: Richard Redmond of Ontario scored a 4 lb 11 ozs rainbow using an inflated night crawler with garlic attractant while fishing the southeast corner of lake 2 at the dam. Steve Crest of Alta Loma caught his 3 lb 4 ozs trout on rainbow power bait near the drain of lake 3. Kevin Strauss of Barstow reeled in a nice 3 lbs 14 ozs trout on a mini jig while fishing the logged eastern shore of lake 3. Mike Frame of Rancho Cucamonga caught a 4 lbs 2 ozs rainbow on a night crawler/power bait combo while fishing the western shore of lake 2.
