The beautiful weather just made the fishing that much better with anglers catching lots of limits and nice sized trout ( many near two pounds and some over 3 pounds). Power bait ( especially rainbow, orange and spring green), inflated night crawlers doused with attractant, lures and jigs all caught trout. Hot spots included the north, eastern and western shores of lake 2 as well as the western and eastern shores of lake 3.

Catches of the Week: Covina angler, Paul Mollette caught a 6 lbs rainbow while the northern shore of lake 2 near the inlet and used spring green power bait . Sam Guthrie of Ontario reeled in a 3 lbs trout on rainbow power bait while fishing the western shore of lake 3. Rick Trudeau of La Verne scored a 6 lbs 9 ozs rainbow on the eastern logged shore of lake 3 using spring green power bait. Chris Johnson of Rialto caught his 4 lbs 4 ozs trout on orange power bait near the drain on the western shore of lake 2. Mike Paulson of Palmdale caught a 3 lbs 12 ozs trout on an orange LipRipperz near the pump house of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
