Trout bite was excellent with anglers using power bait ( especially sherbet, bubblegum, spring green and chartruse), inflated night crawlers dipped in garlic or anise, lures, jigs and senkos to catch fish. Lots of limits went out again this week and the bite remained good throughout the day. Nice size on trout with most near two pounds and some over three pounds Hot spots included the western, eastern and northern shores of lake 2 especially the inlets as well as the eastern shore and western shore from the pump house to the bridge.

Catches of the Week: Sean Mulford of Hesperia caught his 3 lbs 10 ozs rainbow to limit on the Grassy Point of Lake 3 using a night crawler. Larry Reynolds of Rialto reeled in a 3 lbs 8 ozs trout using sherbet power bait on the western shore of lake 3. Craig Felson of Corona caught his 3 lbs 9 ozs trout on an orange power worm while fishing the eastern logged shore of lake 3. Matt Pulvar of Apple Valley scored 4 lbs 6ozs rainbow while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Chris Garcia of San Dimas caught a 3 lbs 4 ozs trout on rainbow power bait near the bridge of lake 2.
