"SPRING SMACKDOWN" TROUT DERBY AT DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE HEMET, CALIFORNIA

For immediate release- Another "Smackdown" trout derby event will be held at Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, California on May 17, 2008. This years event is entitled the "Spring Smackdown". We're supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Southwest, with the net proceeds of the event going directly to the club.

The "Spring Smackdown" will have (3) different divisions to win either cash or prizes: Adult Boater's, Adult Shoreline and Kid's Division. This event will be a festival type event, with something for every member of the family. For food & beverage, Starbuck's Coffee will give complimentary coffee and pastries. Mr. Berry's and Carl's Hawaiian Shaved Ice will provide food and snacks.

The Boys & Girls Clubs will have a crafts booth set-up for children. For other members of the family, the Los Angeles Laker Girls will make a special appearance, signing autographed pictures. The finale will feature a "Grand Drawing", with sponsor driven prizes being raffled off. Lowe's of Hemet will donate an $800.00 BBQ set-up, as the grand prize.

Advanced tickets are recommended, with Adults tickets at $35.00 and Kids tickets at $10.00. Trout derby starts at 6:00 am- 2:00 pm. Angler's can save $10.00 per adult ticket and receive an automatic 10% discount at Last Chance Bait & Tackle in Hemet.
