Inspite the hig winds and muddy water trout are still here and more top water action reported this past week with a few double digit models in the mix. Manu anglers report schoolie size striper on cut bait and frozen shad. Longmouth Bass doing well on plastic throughout the day with some reports of a short lived topwater and crank bait bite in the first few hours of opening. Most longmouth bass caught on plastics. Senkos and like baits, robos and some smaller swim baits have been the bait of choice. A few cat fish reported this past week in the morning along with some large carp. No reports of panfish this week.

More smaller bass have been reported in shallower waters this past week in most coves and some points. Some anglers reported that drop shotting was key to the catch.
