NO MORE TROUT THIS SEASON. LMB are once again the dominating species this week. Most anglers reporting fish in 10 to 15 feet in the morning and the deeper in the mid day hours and taking plastics from 3 to 4 inches is various colors. Mostly greens and natural colors have been reported to be working best. Most fish are coming in at the 1 to 3 pound class with a few 4 and 6 pounders in the mix. Striper action has slowed some what but are still being caught all over the lake on cut bait, frozen shad and crawlers/ The buoy line has livened up a bit fot the smaller 2-4 pound models with a few 6 to 7's taken. The damn has produced a few quality fish along with the areas north of the marina for those soaking bait. A light top water action reported from the 7 am hour to an estimated 10 am so called cutt off. Then again at the 4pm is hour until close. Shad are not close enough to the surface to net but some fish have pushed them up for a quick feed again go to just beyond the reaches of most shad nets.
