Boils have been going on throughout the lake the first few hours of the morning and anglers have been catching their limits mainly off top water and other lures such as Kastmasters or other types of spoons. People have also been having luck fishing down deep for stripers, either jigging or trolling around the lake has been producing some larger fish. Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been getting bit more frequent. Weedless setups with flukes and seniors have been working very well and drop shot still with either robe worms or night crawlers have also been working well. Catfish are also biting along the channel and deep down throughout the cods of the lake on various baits such as chicken liver, sardines or anchovies and even nigthcrawlers.
