Another reliable week it has been for Lake Perris fishermmen. As Crappie even begin to make more of an appearance, the bass catch still dominates the gaming. An efficient word of plastic lures is still making its way around the community.

These are the following ratings:
Bass: Excellent with an Average size of 4 pounds.
Bluegill: Good with an Average size of 1 pound.
Carp: Fair with an Average size of 5 pounds.
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 15 pounds. Crappie: Good with an Average size of 1.625 pounds.
Redear: Good with an Average size of 1.625 pounds.
Trout: Good with an Average size of 0.625 pound.

Winter fishing is heating up for Lake Perris; As we are keeping an ascending count of incidents on Bass and Catfish. Fisherman reporting their casts with plastic lures are enthusiastic on Bass/ Catfish gaming. Fishing at Lake Perris has been wonderful this week. We have had happy fisherman going home with Catfish, Bass, Bluegill & Crappie. The Trout are also starting to bite!
