Limits of stripers are still being caught throughout the lake off boils the first few Horus fo the morning. People have been using various jigs and top waters around Chumash Island, Bear Trap, Serrano and Yellowbar to catch stripers and trolling through the area later in the day. Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been biting well over the past week int eh marina along the shorelines and also thought the coves around the lake up along the grass lines. Wheedles steppers with soft plastics have been working great to get bit, some top water bites in the morning hours, or even nightcrawler throughout the day. Trout are also biting in the marina on nightcrawlers or powerboat and various lures like Kastmasters or other little spinners. Catfish are still going for various frozen baits like sardines and check liver down deep in coves as well.

Trout are still being caught along the channel by the front booth and along the rip rap in front of the boat shop using worms and powerboats throughout the day. Stripers have been boiling out around Chumash Island, Serrano, and Yellowbar the first few hours throughout the morning over the past couple weeks. Many anglers are having luck with top water baits, spoons and fluke-type baits in the boils.
