Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been biting throughout the day on various baits along the shorelines and coves around the lake. Top water baits have been getting bit the first few hours of the mornings along the shorelines and soft plastics throughout the day, working the baits down deep and throughout the grand to come across the bass mid day. Stripers are also being caught along the channel but the entrance booth and off the rocks in front of the boat shop mainly bait and wait style throughout the day using lugworms or nightcrawler, anchovies and even chicken liver. Occasional boils have been seen throughout the maintainability and around Chumash Island during the first few Horus of the morning but have been diving down much quicker now. Some boils have asl o been seen in the afternoon through the marina as well.

Stripers have still been boiling around the lake and throughout the marina but starting to dive down a lot faster now. Anglers have been marking them anywhere up to 70 feet deep around the island mid day and have been having luck either trolling, spewing or even drifting around some bait to hook up on some stripers. Stripers, bass and trout have been biting well over the past week thought the marina and around the Chumash Island along with the other coves around the lake. Serrano, Bear Trap and Yellowbar have been good spots to troll through or even come across boils in the mornings along with the Marina throughout the day.
