What a great week and a half its been!

Water temps are 54 to 58 lake wide and the D.O. is high.

Nothing holding schools of Bows in just one area.

Seeing Great catches from Boat and Shore!

We are seeing Bankies hauling in full stringers and Big fish from the Red House to Juniper Point along the North Shore. Carolina Rigs fished off the bottom with Long Leaders of 2 to 4 lb. test fluoro. Original and Yellow garlic Power Bait are getting these fish on the stringers.

Trollers are working the same areas of the North Shore especially in front of the West Launch Ramp to the Solar Observatory. Shallow depths of 8 to 15 feet and a variety of lures and baits have Trollers and Charter Captains hooking up with some Sizeable Trout!

With weather forecasts calling for Santa Ana winds and warmer weather temps for the coming week we can't say how much longer the "Catchin' Action" will be this good. But fingers crossed that low pressure and cooler temps will bring the Valley temps back down.

Luke Fortune was soaking garlic Power bait near Juniper Point when he caught this hefty 9.4lb Rainbow.

Mel Friese of Big Bear left his secret regular "Honey Hole" for the promise of bigger fish at Juniper Point and walked away with a 4.5lb beauty he quickly put on the stringer to keep his 3lb fish company!

Charter Captain Sean Rabago was very happy to share some of his clients catches including a behemoth 10.1lb 'Bow trolling a Rapala lure.

Andrew Mack was trolling in front of the West West Launch Ramp and Observatory when he caught a 7 and 9 pounder on the same circuit!

Little Josiah did well at Juniper point with his 3 fish stringer. As did William Meisner with his limit laid out on the wood planks...

There is no time like the present to were a line and get in on some of the amazing action going on at Big Bear Lake.
