Despite all the Trout plants now Striper have been seen boiling on them anywhere on the lake. Small speratic sightings of a fish here and there have been reported but nothing in comparison to what we are all accustom to in the past. Cold and wind kept many anglers home this past week. Those who toughed it out scored striper to 12 pounds but averaged 5 to 5.50 pound line sides. Most fish on top in the morning and floating cit bait throughout the day. Largemouth Bass are doing fair at best making it that much tougher for tournament anglers. Fish in the 1 and 2 pound class are a pretty accurate average. Water level is still down and fluctuating but is slowly coming up making the fishing a hair more consistant for all anglers. Catfish have been reported and confirmed to the 10 pound class but most are 2 to 3 pound models. No Pan fish reported this week. Unconfirmed reports of the Lagoon has let some of her Largemouth Bass get caught, some in the 5 and 6 pound models. Big Carp have been caught as well and sighted on both the upper and lower lakes.
