The weather has been foggy in the morning burning off around 9:00 am. We’ve had partially cloudy days causing the trout to be elusive. When the trout hit its on Powerbait and nightcrawlers. Wind gust up to 45 MPH have limited boaters in small boats and Kayaks. The ones that have made it out have had luck fishing bass with Rapalas and Kastmasters.

There was a little change in the fishing conditions. It was windy and raining off and on all week. We had a couple marina closures due to high winds and rains. Saturday, despite the cool temps and overcast skies, we received reports of over a dozen bass caught. The anglers reportedly used Rat-L-Trap lures Rage Bug plastic bait. Another slow week for fishing. The temperature has been dipping down to the mid 30’s at night and the wind and rain have hampered most fishing efforts. A good size Catfish was caught on mackerel in Harvey’s Cove off the shore. A few medium sized bass were caught, mostly on flicker shads and roboworms.
