Trout fishing has slowed down the past week, with the last stocking being a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we will get another one this week! Trout are still biting off powerbait and kastmasters.

The largemouth and smallmouth bite has been the deal lately with a lot of numbers being reported. Small plastics on the drop shot, Carolina-rig, ned-rig, and Neko-rig have been working. Some reaction baits early in the morning have also been producing for a few anglers.

The striper bite has been slow with not too many being caught. Trolling a producer fly  might do the trick or just soakign a nightcrawler or lugworm.

The catfish are starting to show, most of these fish have been caught on chicken liver or anchovy. There has also been decent crappie and bluegill action, mainly at the lower lagoon. There are a bunch of carp in the upper lake that have been in good numbers.
