We had a trout stocking on 4/20/21 and anglers have been catching trout since the. It has been getting a little tougher to target the trout, but most are being caught off Kastmaster or Powerbait.

The largemouth and smallmouth bite has been where it is at and have been on the chew lately. A variety of soft plastics have been working best with 3-4” senkos and roboworms working for most anglers. A lot of bass have been caught inside the coves and in shallow water. Nightcralwers and a few reaction baits first thing in the morning have also been working.

Some striper shave been making more of an appearance with most fish coming off the troll or down deep with anchovies and worms.

Catfish are starting to bite more often; mackerel and chicken liver is your best bet.

The Bluegill and Crappie are also starting to bite more, with the lower lagoon being the best place to target these species.
