Trout fishing has slowed down the past few days but there has still been a few anglers having luck. Powerbait and nightcrawlers seem to be doing the trick for most. We’re hoping for another stock soon.

The largemouth and smallmouth fishing has probably been the most productive for anglers as of late. Plastics, flukes, reaction baits and nightcrawlers all have been working. Finesse plastics have been getting the most action.

The striper fishing has improved with still a lot of smaller sized fish being caught. Most fish have been caught using sardines, anchovies and lug worms. Trolling flies has been production lately as well.

The catfish bite has improved a little, with mackerel and anchovies working best.

The bluegill and crappie have started to bite here and there, but the lower lagoon has been the best. Wax worms and meal worms have been working, along with smaller swim jigs.

The largemouth and smallmouth bite remains really good, with a lot of angels shaving 30-50 fish a day. Plastics have been working the best, either a finesse worm or crawdad imitation will do the trick. Early...... Read More
