With the last trout stocking becoming more distant, we are eagerly expecting another one or two to cap off the season. Overall, anglers have been having the best luck off Power-bait and nightcrawlers. Some guys trolling kastmasters and flies have also been having some luck.

The largemouth and smallmouth bite remains really good, with a lot of angels shaving 30-50 fish a day. Plastics have been working the best, either a finesse worm or crawdad imitation will do the trick. Early morning boils are being spotted with stripers chasing bait once again.

The striper action has definitely improves, but there has bene a lot fo smaller class striper caught. Anchovies, sardines, and nightcrawlers have been doing the trick as well.

The catfish bite continues to pick up, with mackerel and anchvoeice working the best.

The bluegill and crappie remains a little elusive for most anglers with the best action being reported down at the lagoon.
