Due to the clarity of the water and the high heat temperatures, we are experiencing algae growth in the lake. To combat the situation, we’ve treated the water twice with environmentally safe materials, and applied a dye to help mitigate any regrowth.

The situation is already improving and is now a matter of cleanup, for which we have staff assigned to the task. We estimate the cleanup process to take 2 to 3 weeks and appreciate your patience and understanding. This is a priority matter for us, as we strive to provide a great experience for our fishermen and park goers.
