Catfish have still been biting very well along the rip rap and canal of the shoreline, mainly on chicken liver or sardines. Some striper shave beeb seen boiling throughout the main channel of the lake in the early morning hours, biting on small presentations baits. Anglers have had some top water action but Kastmasters and sardines have bee the best bet to come across stripers throughout the day. Smallmouth and largemouth bass are also biting various lures like top waters, small crank baits and jerk baits but mainly soft plastics hooked up weedless to get through the grass lines have been working the best for most people. Smaller finesse style drop shot setups or senkos Texas rigged or other creature baits have been getting bit the more.
