  • Trout Season Opener: Trout season will open Friday, November 19th. The first trout stocking of the season is the week of November 15th. A total of 2000 lbs. will be stocked for the opener. We will stock bi-weekly for a total of 20,000 lbs. this season! For a complete stocking schedule, click HERE. This years stock will be coming from Wright's Rainbows in Idaho.
  • What's the catch?  The catfish are schooling in deeper waters and are a little more lethargic this time of year, but they're still out there! Try renting or launching a boat and fishing in the channels. Deeper areas of the lake include the tower buoy line, Sentry Cove, and the channel between Siesta Point and Sentry Point. They will still bite on mackerel, chicken livers, dough baits, etc. The bass and bluegill bite has been consistent. There were reports from Cloister Cove and the t-dock of both. Anglers were using wax worms and meal worms to reel in panfish. The bass were biting on plastics and shiners. Don't forget to send us pics of your catch! You can tag us @lakejennings on social media or email them to ranger@lakejennings.org.
  • Veterans Day: In honor of all who served, the lake will be open on Thursday, November 11th from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Veterans Day. All Veterans and Active Duty members of the United States Armed Forces will be able to fish for FREE with proper military ID. Ask about our military discounts on boat rentals at the bait shop!
  • Conditions: The current water temperature is 71 degrees. The next New Moon is November 4th. For a complete weather report in Lakeside, click HERE.
