As the seasons change, out fishing game picks up at Lake Perris as we see a rise in Catfish with chicken liver and mackerel bait. Lots 11 and 12, as well as the Marina shore have shown to be the spots of fortune. A fair amount of Redear and Bluegill have been reported off of the Marina docks, although the frequency has been very "Hit and Miss".

Bass: Fair with an Average size of 4 lbs.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 1/4 - 3/4 lbs.
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 5 lbs.
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Fair with an Average size of 1/2 - 1 lbs.
Trout: Poor

It is Fall now and the fish are biting. The catfish are big and the bait for the catfish is mackerel and catfish dough bait. The bass are also biting on roboworms and live worms. Bass are biting here at Lake Perris. The bass like nightcrawlers and roboworms. The bluegill are nibbling on crickets and mealworms. But weights are needed to get to the bluegill on the bottom of the Lake. Fall is here so the fish will start biting.
